Product overview: Application spectra of the products

For HYPOGEN CARE to be fully effective, it is particularly important to apply the products correctly.

The hair care product application table shows which product is suitable for a specific hair thickness or degree of damage. The different scalp types are also presented and the appropriate products are shown. Finally, the application overview shows which products can alleviate individual irritations or scalp conditions.

Definition of hair thicknesses

Fine / thin hair : 0.03 - 0.07 mm hair diameter
Normal hair : 0.07 - 0.09 mm hair diameter
Thick hair : 0.09 mm - ... hair diameter

Characteristics of the scalp types / skin types

Type I (very sensitive skin, dry skin): very poorly pigmented skin, transparent / very thin skin, very dry skin, forced formation of freckles, very poor circulation, no visible pores
Type II (sensitive skin, mature skin): weakly pigmented skin, thin skin, dry skin, poor circulation, discreetly visible pores
Type III (Normal skin, combination skin): lightly pigmented skin, normal circulation, slight blemishes, visible pores
Type IV (Thick skin, blemished skin): heavily pigmented skin, often oily skin, heavily circulated, visible blemishes, highly visible pores
Type V (dark skin, dry skin): very heavily pigmented skin, dry skin, heavily supplied with blood, hardly any blemishes, highly visible pores
Type VI (Black skin, very dry skin): maximally pigmented skin, very dry skin, well supplied with blood, no blemishes, highly visible pores
