The NSP technology

The human skin reacts to exposure to UV radiation through protective mechanisms such as increased eleidin production (indication: increased pigmentation/tanning) and an increase in light callosity via a thickening of the horny layer (indication: thickening of the skin), which are adapted to the natural radiation exposure of the skin type. However, the body's own protective mechanisms are tightly structured and sometimes have very long reaction and build-up times.

This gap is filled by HYPOGEN SUN CARE, which uses a special chitosan biopolymer complex that absorbs UV radiation immediately after application.

HYPOGEN SUN CARE products form a wafer-thin, barely visible micro-protective film on the skin. This protects the skin like a shield against UV radiation. In addition, this micro-protective film can maintain its sun protection factor (SPF 60 or SPF 65) over the long term, as it is breathable, (salt) water-resistant and abrasion-resistant.

The micro-protective film is only removed by shear forces, i.e. by rubbing the skin vigorously, a so-called scrubbing and wiping technique. This is used, for example, when drying with a towel. (Only) then does it need to be reapplied.

The protection of the NSP technology is maintained in particular by its film-forming properties: If slight abrasion occurs as a result of the accidental imitation of a scrubbing-wiping technique, NSP components rebuild themselves there.

HYPOGEN SUN CARE products are resistant to perspiration even with heavy alkaline sweating.
