Recommendation
Wash hair with split ends with HYPOGEN CARE Care Shampoo. If there is no lather on the fingers when shampooing, wash the hair again to ensure sufficient cleansing.
Then spray the hair with HYPOGEN CARE Keratin Instant Care as required and blow dry completely using a boar bristle brush. The bristles are particularly gentle on the hair in terms of friction and do not charge the hair electrostatically. The feather keratin now supports the hair structure with its excellent film-forming properties and makes the hair significantly thicker, more plastic and also more resistant to environmental influences in order to prevent hair damage.
To build up the hair's cell membrane complex in particular, massage HYPOGEN CARE Hair Care Oil into dry hair. To do this, apply 1 to 2 drops of Hair Care Oil to the palms of your hands and rub in. Now use your hands as a styling aid and massage the oil film onto your hands, especially into the particularly dry lengths and ends of the hair.
To support the repair effect, the hair can now be additionally blow-dried or straightened with a straightening iron. Very fast movements when blow-drying or straightening should be avoided, as they cause unnecessary friction on the hair. The enemy of the hair here is not - as often mistakenly assumed - the heat, but the friction.
Features
Trichoptilosis - popularly known as split ends - is a splitting of the hair in the tip area. The ends of the hair are slightly brittle and appear dull. This rarely occurs in shorter hair because short hair is less subject to friction from movement (for example, on the shoulders) and is often cut more frequently to maintain hair length. Split ends are a cosmetic problem as they result in a less smooth and orderly appearance of the hair.
The cause of split ends is usually overstressing the hair due to mechanical, thermal or chemical action.
Split ends are a sign of rarely shortened, heavily stressed or sensitive hair. To maintain hair length in particular here, prophylactic care measures are essential.
