Recommendation:

HYPOGEN CARE Wound Care Lotion has pathogen-inhibiting properties and is ideal for preventing wound infections. However, application to the wound is only recommended if there is no obvious contamination of the wound. If this is the case, a doctor should be consulted to have the wound medically cleaned! Furthermore, in the case of an injury of this type, it should be checked whether a tetanus vaccination has been given. If not, this should be given on the same day as the injury.

Apply HYPOGEN CARE Wound Care Lotion to the pre-cleaned finder tips and then gently spread over the wound. A thin film is sufficient. The Wound Care Lotion should be reapplied after each body wash until the wound no longer oozes and tears.

The keratolytic properties of Wound Care Lotion also remove "residual skin" more quickly, so that the wound heals faster from the inside out. The Wound Care Lotion also compensates for wound oozing and closes the wound in a breathable manner with protection against external influences. This allows the wound to heal faster without irritation from the outside.

Features

An abrasion is a superficial wound in which the skin is injured by abrasion. The skin is literally abraded. Depending on how hard and rough the surface is on which the skin is abraded, different types of abrasions can occur:

  • Erosion: The top layer of skin (epidermis) is damaged.
  • Excoriation: The middle layer of skin (dermis) is also injured.
  • Avulsio: Epidermis and dermis are completely ablated.

Abrasions should be treated directly to prevent subsequent complications from wound infections (especially tetanus).

Often abrasions occur as a result of falls. The parts of the body often affected include the elbows, knees, palms and face.
