Neurodermatitis is a chronic, non-contagious skin disease. Neurodermatitis is caused by a disturbed balance of the stratum corneum of the skin and the cell membrane complex. The skin reacts symptomatically with forced redness, eczema and excessive scaling. Typical signs are consequently skin rash and severe itching.
