Thin hair

Recommendation

Wash fine/thin hair with HYPOGEN CARE Cleansing Shampoo (especially if hair is oily at the same time). If there is no foam on the fingers when shampooing, wash the hair again to ensure sufficient cleansing.

Then spray the hair with HYPOGEN CARE Keratin Instant Care as required and blow dry completely using a brush. The feather keratin now supports the hair structure with its excellent film-forming properties and makes the hair significantly thicker, more plastic and also more resistant to environmental influences in order to prevent hair damage.

If the hair is also severely damaged, we recommend using the cleansing shampoo alternately with HYPOGEN CARE Care Shampoo.

Features

An average human hair is about 0.05 to 0.08 mm thick. Fine or thin hair is already spoken of when there is a diameter of 0.03 to 0.07 mm.

Typical, Central European hair is consequently fine-normal in terms of its thickness.

In fine hair, the cuticle has a significantly higher proportion of the mass fraction between the cuticle and the fiber stem than in normal or even thick hair. In fine hair, this structural portion of the cuticle is characteristic for the properties of the hair. Damage to the cuticle layer results in hair that appears more damaged overall. This is because the cuticle is the most "vulnerable" part of the hair structure. Fine hair is consequently more sensitive than normal or thick hair and is clearly less plastic, since the plastic-forming fiber stem makes up less of the hair.
