Seborrhea sicca

Recommendation

The body should only be washed with HYPOGEN CARE Shower Foam. The Shower Foam is so mild and has such a low proportion of surfactants (detergents) that it cleans as gently as possible. For hand washing, HYPOGEN CARE Washing Lotion is recommended instead of the shower foam. After washing, rinse the cleansed skin areas thoroughly.

The skin should then be massaged with HYPOGEN CARE Skin Care Oil . Applying the skin care oil in this way relaxes the skin and reduces its susceptibility to tearing. Then apply HYPOGEN CARE LLS Care Cream to the skin. The cream should be applied after every shower or cleansing.

Basic care with Shower Foam, Skin Care Oil and LLS Care Cream significantly reduces the susceptibility to eczema typical of dry skin.

For facial care in particular, the use of HYPOGEN CARE Facial Cleanser in combination with HYPOGEN CARE Make-up Remover Oil (if required) is recommended. This replaces Shower Foam in the treatment procedure described above.

The effect is dermatologically confirmed: In general, good skin care according to this recommendation cures dry skin in up to 99% of cases.

Features

Seborrhea sicca is characterized by dry skin condition. Skin cells dry out prematurely, resulting in forced keratinization (scaling). The skin is drier than usual.

Dry environment, which causes premature evaporation of the water content of the skin, or excessive production of the skin's own hydrolipidic film may be responsible for the development of seborrhea s icca.

However, seborrhea sicca can also develop from seborrhea oleosa if cosmetics or other products containing drying ingredients are used for skin care.

Seborrhea sicca is manifested by a tough dry scaly horny layer. Comedones may complement the skin appearance. The skin is shiny, but taut and shows reduced flexibility and plasticity, so that cracks may also form and skin diseases such as acne or neurodermatitis may be promoted.
