Seborrhea oleosa

Recommendation

The body should only be washed with HYPOGEN CARE Shower Foam. The Shower Foam is so mild and has such a low proportion of surfactants (detergents) that it cleans as gently as possible. For hand washing, HYPOGEN CARE Washing Lotion is recommended instead of the shower foam. After washing, rinse the cleansed skin areas thoroughly.

Now local HYPOGEN CARE Wound Care Fluid thinly and gently onto the affected areas and allow to absorb. Acutely inflamed areas should be additionally treated with HYPOGEN CARE® Wound Care Lotion care: apply gently and allow to dry.

After it has subsided, i.e. when there are no longer any acutely inflamed areas, the skin (body and facial skin) should be treated with HYPOGEN CARE LLS Care Cream. Proceed gently on the affected areas.

Basic care with Shower Foam and LLS Care Cream significantly reduces the skin's susceptibility to secondary symptoms such as acne or eczema.

For seborrhoea oleosa on the face, we recommend using HYPOGEN CARE Facial Cleanser in combination with HYPOGEN CARE Make-up Remover Oil (if required). This replaces Shower Foam in the treatment procedure described above.

The effect has been dermatologically confirmed: In general, good skin care according to this recommendation can be expected to provide significant relief in more than 75% of cases.

Features

Seborrhea oleosa refers to increased sebum formation in the skin, i.e. an oily skin condition. It usually occurs with a cornification disorder in the area of the sebaceous gland follicles and thus leads to acne. Preferably affected are the face, neck and décolleté, chest and back. Sometimes variants of seborrhea oleosa also occur under the armpits and in the genital, buttock and groin regions.
